Observing things, and the people who use them
Hands & Objects is a project that explores
the curious world of material things,
and the roles they play in our everyday lives.
Jennifer Yoko Olson is an industrial designer born and raised in Tokyo,
educated in San Francisco, now based in New York. She has worked on
a great range of projects, from home appliances to fragrance bottles to
food packaging. A friend once described her as someone who talks
about objects as though they were people.
Currently, she is a designer at a tech startup by day, and
a creative explorer by night. Hands & Objects is her latest venture.
